What to Wear & Bring on an Everglades Airboat Tour

A simple airboat tour packing checklist
- Complimentary water is provided; bring extra drinking water if your group would like it.
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat that stays secure in moving air.
- Comfortable clothing suited to the forecast and outdoor conditions.
- Secure footwear for getting on and off the boat.
- Insect repellent and a light layer if needed.
- A secure bag or protective case for your phone and camera.
- Your booking details and the confirmed meeting or pickup address.

What should I wear for a daytime airboat ride?
Choose clothing you can comfortably sit and move in outdoors. Consider sun coverage as well as temperature. Secure loose hats and accessories, and keep essential items together rather than loose on the seat. For younger guests, pack what they need for the time outdoors and discuss your family’s requirements when reserving.
What changes for sunset and night tours?
Check the forecast for the actual tour hours, not just the daytime high. A light layer can be useful when conditions cool. Keep belongings organized so they are easy to find as the light changes. Can I bring a camera?
Bring a camera or phone you can hold securely, with enough battery and storage. A protective case can help keep belongings organized. Discuss larger equipment and photography priorities before booking; a regular sightseeing reservation does not establish space for every type of camera setup. What should I check before leaving?
Confirm your tour time and use 5334 FL-90, Miami, FL 33185 for the airboat meeting point. Arrive 15 minutes early; free onsite parking is available. Allow separate time for road travel. If you arranged a pickup, follow the pickup instructions confirmed for your reservation. Tell us about your group size, children, mobility or boarding questions, and any flight or other deadline before we confirm the trip.
