Planning our airboat tour before or after a Miami cruise

Share your cruise date, terminal, group size, luggage needs and travel deadlines with Airboat Adventures Everglades before paying. A tour reservation alone does not include a cruise transfer or a guaranteed return-to-ship service. Confirm transportation separately with our team.

Before boarding your cruise

Work backward from the cruise line’s required check-in time, not just the ship’s departure. Allow for the tour, arrival 15 minutes early at our meeting point, road travel, traffic, luggage handling and terminal check-in. An available tour start time does not confirm that the complete itinerary fits your cruise schedule. If time is tight, consider a different day.

After disembarkation

Ship arrival is not necessarily the time you can leave the terminal. Allow for getting off the ship, collecting bags and meeting your driver. Tell us about any same-day flight and final drop-off address so we can discuss a suitable departure before you book.

Confirm bags and pickup details

Send the number and approximate size of your bags, your exact pickup location, children’s ages and any boarding or mobility questions. Do not assume storage at the meeting point or room for suitcases on the airboat. Keep essential travel documents secure and accessible.

Private transportation is $400 round trip for up to 13 guests, with a minimum of 4 guests and a tour of at least 1.5 hours. A 1.5-hour daytime tour starts at $350 for the first two guests, plus $60 per additional guest. For four paying guests, that example starts at $470 for the tour and $400 for transportation, totaling $870. Other tours have different rates.

Where exactly can you pick us up?

At Miami International Airport (MIA), Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL), hotels and rentals around Miami, South Beach and Fort Lauderdale, and both cruise ports, PortMiami and Port Everglades. Send the exact street address, not just a neighborhood. Florida Keys pickups cost the same as port pickups, but please call (305) 766-1929 first so we can talk through the distance.

Is the $400 round trip, and can drop-off be somewhere else?

Yes to both. The $400 covers the drive from your pickup point to our dock and back after your tour, for up to 13 guests, with a minimum of 4 guests and a tour of at least 1.5 hours. Drop-off doesn't have to match pickup: for example, we can collect you at the airport and drop you at your hotel. Send both addresses when you book.

What if we're only two or three people?

Our private transport needs at least four guests, so smaller groups usually take Uber or rent a car. Two or three guests can still book a fully private boat. If you use a rideshare, set up your ride back before you leave, because drivers can be hard to find out near the Everglades.

Can we fit a tour in on a cruise day?

Yes, if you leave enough time. Before boarding, work back from your cruise line's check-in time, not the sailing time, and add the drive, traffic, bags and the 15-minute early arrival. After you get off the ship, allow time to leave the terminal and meet your driver. Send us your ship, port and times, and we'll suggest a tour start time.
