PLAN YOUR EVERGLADES EXPERIENCE
Miami Airport to the Everglades: Tour Planning Guide
Flying into Miami International Airport (MIA)? Start by choosing the experience you want and its exact meeting point. An Everglades airboat booking and a visit to a national park entrance involve different arrangements.
Choose your destination before planning the transfer
For an Airboat Adventures Everglades sightseeing tour, our meeting address is 5334 FL-90, Miami, FL 33185, unless we confirm otherwise. Use the address in your booking instructions rather than a general search for “Everglades National Park.” Specialty trips may use a different location.
Everglades National Park has separate entrance areas in Homestead, Shark Valley, and Everglades City. Their roads do not connect through the park. Check the National Park Service directions if you are also planning a park visit. Our tour reservation does not automatically include park admission, a visitor-center visit, or transport between entrances.
Driving from MIA or arranging private pickup
If you are renting a car, plan the drive to your confirmed airboat meeting point and arrive 15 minutes early. Free onsite parking is available. Road travel varies with traffic, so check your route for your actual departure time.
Our airport and hotel pickup service can be arranged with your tour. Private transportation is $400 for up to 14 guests, separately from the tour price. It requires a minimum of four people and a tour of at least 1.5 hours. Confirm availability, luggage space, pickup location, return arrangements, and total cost before reserving.
What does an airport pickup and tour cost?
For four paying guests, a 1.5-hour daytime airboat tour starts at $395: $275 for the first two guests plus $60 for each of the next two. Adding the separate $400 transportation charge brings that example to $795. Other durations and specialty experiences have different rates. Compare tour lengths before requesting your itinerary.
Can you visit the Everglades during a layover?
Contact us before booking around connecting flights. We need to account for your arrival, baggage or immigration arrangements, road travel, the tour itself, and your airline's return-to-airport requirements. A long layover alone does not confirm that an outing will fit. Send both flight times and wait for an agreed schedule.
Details to send with your airport-tour request
- Travel date, arrival time, and any onward flight deadline.
- Number of guests and children's ages.
- Amount of luggage and any accessibility requirements.
- Your preferred tour length or experience.
- Whether you need airport pickup, hotel pickup, or will drive.
- Your desired return destination.
What if you fly into Fort Lauderdale instead?
Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) pickups can also be discussed when arranging your tour. Share your exact flight and travel plans; do not apply a Miami pickup schedule to an FLL arrival. See our Fort Lauderdale tour planning page.
