What to bring

Bring clothing suited to the forecast, secure personal items and a way to protect your phone from water. Ask the captain about footwear, insect protection and any trip-specific preparation before departure. Equipment for gigging is included; confirm any other personal items when you call.

A private four-hour night trip on the airboat for your group, a professional captain experienced in gigging frogs and fish, and all the equipment. It's $1,250 for the first two guests, and each extra guest is $100, so three guests are $1,350 and four are $1,450. Private transport is available for $400 round trip for groups of four or more.

When is the best time of year for frog gigging?

Winter and early spring are best, when the water is lower and temperatures are cooler. Trips run after dark, and because every tour is fully customizable, you choose the start time that suits your group. Can beginners and kids come frog gigging?

Yes. There's no age limit, and our ear protection fits all sizes. Tell us when you book if anyone is new to gigging, and your captain will explain what to expect before you start. Four hours after dark is a long night for little ones, so bring a light layer and bug spray, and plan an early nap.

Are catches guaranteed on a frog gigging trip?

No. Frogs are wild, and water levels and weather change where they are and how active they are, so no night comes with a guarantee. Your best odds are in winter and early spring, when the water is lower and temperatures are cooler, and your captain chooses the area based on conditions that night.
