Discuss your production

Boat support for your Everglades shoot

Plan boat time around your film or product production brief. Share your intended shots, dates, crew size, and equipment so we can discuss a workable arrangement and confirm availability. The hourly service provides a boat with its dedicated USCG-licensed captain and fuel; your specific shoot requirements are reviewed before booking.

Clear hourly pricing

The rate is $300 per hour per boat. For example, four booked hours with one boat is $1,200 at the stated hourly rate. Multiple boats are priced separately for their booked hours. There's no minimum booking. Your written quote lists the boats, hours and any additional services.

What to include in your production inquiry

  • Project type: movie, commercial, product shoot, or another production.
  • Proposed dates and number of boat hours.
  • Number of boats, crew members, and equipment requirements.
  • Your creative brief, planned locations, and timing needs.
  • Any access, permissions, or production documentation requirements.

Boat capacity and equipment suitability must be confirmed. Tell us about specialized camera rigs and location plans when you ask for a quote. We can provide insurance certificates, a W-9 and any vendor paperwork your production needs.

Plan the schedule around conditions

Outdoor filming depends on weather, light, and the environment. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Discuss schedule flexibility and any required setup time when we quote your shoot.

Production boat hire questions

How much does production boat hire cost?

$300 per hour per boat, with a dedicated USCG-licensed captain and fuel included, and there's no minimum booking. A four-hour booking with one boat is $1,200, and each extra boat is billed for its own hours. Send your dates, hours and number of boats, and we'll give you a written quote.

How many crew and how much gear fit on a boat?

Most of our boats hold 6–7 guests, and camera gear takes up some of that space, so send your crew count and a gear list, including tripods, rigs, drones and cases. We have many boats, so bigger crews or a separate camera boat just mean booking more than one. Discuss bulky or specialized rigs with us ahead of time.

Can you provide insurance and vendor paperwork?

Yes. We can provide whatever documentation your production needs, including a certificate of insurance, a W-9 and vendor paperwork. List your requirements in your first message, such as insurance limits or additional-insured wording, and we'll get everything to your production office before the shoot so paperwork doesn't hold up your schedule.

Can we shoot at sunrise, sunset or night?

Yes. Boats can go out at any time. For sunrise, we recommend being on the water 30 minutes before sunrise, and sunset times shift with the season, so we'll give you the exact times for your dates. Night shoots are possible too. Build in a backup day if the light matters, because weather changes the look.
