When can we take a swamp buggy tour?

From September through June. We don't run buggy tours in July and August. Within the season, conditions and water levels shape the route on the day, so the ride can feel different in September than in spring. Call (305) 766-1929 with your date and group size to check availability.

Is a swamp buggy the same as an airboat?

No. A swamp buggy is a tall, big-wheeled vehicle that drives over land and shallow water, so you ride high above the prairies and cypress forest. An airboat glides across open water and sawgrass. Many guests enjoy doing both. Ask us about pairing a buggy tour with an airboat tour on a custom trip.

What will we see on a Big Cypress buggy tour?
